U.P. STATE ENTRANCE EXAMINATION  Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Uttar Pradesh (FOR ADMISSION TO First Year B.TECH. PROGRAMMES)

Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) (formerly UPTU) was established by the Government of Uttar Pradesh, vide Act Amendment No. 1156(2) LXXIX-V-1-15-1(Ka), 24-2015 dated Sept 9, 2015 Uttar Pradesh Adhiniyam Sankhya 23 of 2000. Under the University Act, Technical Education includes programmes of education, research and training in Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Town Planning, Pharmacy, Applied Arts & Crafts and such other programmes and areas that the central Government may in consultation with All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) by notification in Gazette declare. 

The entrance examination for degree level engineering institutions and other professional colleges has been assigned to Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow . The Govt. of Uttar Pradesh, Technical Education Department, has consented for the constitution of Central Admission Board (CAB) under the Chairmanship of the Vice Chancellor, Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow to supervise and control the State Entrance Examination herein after referred as UPSEE-2020 being conducted by Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow. The CAB has absolute rights for conducting of UPSEE-2020, and to decide about modalities of admissions and allotment of seats.

The Entrance Examination for admission to first year of 4 years B.Tech./B.Tech. (Ag. Engg) Course offered at the Institutions affiliated to AKTU, Lucknow for the academic year 2020-2021.

UPSEE BTech Engineering Entrance Test Eligibility :

Qualifying Examination : The subject combination required in the qualifying examination (intermediate examination of U.P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent) for admission to first year of B Tech is Physics & Mathematics as Compulsory Subjects and anyone of the following Subjects
(Chemistry/ Bio-Technology / Biology / Technical Vocational subject)

Qualifying Marks : For admission to first year of B.Tech. candidate must have passed intermediate examination of U.P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board / University in each compulsory subjects and one optional subject and securing minimum 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST Category candidates) in aggregate in required three subjects.
A candidate Passed Diploma (Engineering & Technology) with at least 45% marks (40% for reserved category) is also eligible.

UPSEE BTech Engineering Entrance Test Details :
The UPSEE BTech Engineering Entrance Test Question paper consists of objective multiple type questions. 
The candidates are required to opt papers and subjects for appearing in the UPSEE BTech Engineering entrance examination.
All UPSEE BTech Engineering Entrance Test Papers shall be OMR based Test only.
The Question paper consists of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics 50 objective type questions, each of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with a total of 150 questions and total of 600 Marks.

UPSEE 2020 BTech Engineering SCHEDULE OF EXAMINATION :

The UPSEE-2020 will be held at various cities as given in the Prospectus.
The candidates are advised to give three choices of examination cities. 

UPSEE 2020 ADMIT CARD For BTech Examination : UPSEE BTech Engineering Entrance Test Admit card will be available online on the website http://www.upsee.nic.in to every candidate.

Downloaded admit card shall be treated as valid admit card.
No candidate will be allowed to appear in the examination without admit card.
If any candidate is unable to download his/her admit card, he/she should contact the helpline as indicated on the website http://www.upsee.nic.in or send an email to the mail address upsee.helpdesk@aktu.ac.in latest by 10th May 2020 

HOW TO APPLY UPSEE 2020 BTech Engineering Entrance Test Application Form: The online UPSEE BTech Engineering Entrance Test application can be made from 02:00 PM, 27th Jan 2020 till 05:00 PM of 15th March 2020 through the website http://www.upsee.nic.in.
The On-Line Application Form is self-explanatory.
